My New Year's Resolution
15 days to go and it's already Christmas. You know what, I am not really excited because it will just happen but of course, I will help for the preparation and for some expenses.
What I am excited for is my New Year's Resolution. Mine is not the usual resolution which is to aim personal attitudes such as: punctuality, gain or lose weight, to be a good citizen, not to have a boyfriend for a year (hahaha! remember this of a friend) and any other resolutions we already heard it every year but nothing fulfilled. These kinds of resolutions only needs DISCIPLINE and SELF-MOTIVATION.
I admit, punctuality was my problem when I was in school. I never make this as a resolution because from elementary to college I was also a late comer. Hahaha! Now, I am already working. What's the sense of being always a late comer? Discipline and self-motivation was the reason. I have no money if I always come late at work. Practicality sets in.
Here's the list of my New Year's Resolution:
1. to buy a digital camera
2. having an out of town trip or vacation
3. to have fun
4. to save money so that I could afford all those things above
5. also save money for my future
6. hardworking
The #6 list, it needs discipline and self-motivation but I have goals for it and those five are the reasons.

What is Happening to Philippines?
I really don't know what to write last night because I don't have anything good to write. With the latest news in my country, I think there's nothing good about it, almost bad news.
Well, I tell you what is happening to the Philippines:
Maguindanao Massacre
Maguindanao is a part of the Philippine province located in the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao or ARMM.
Why it is called Maguindanao Massacre? On November 23, 2009, mass graves were found in Ampatuan, a town of Maguindanao, who the victims were civilians, journalists and politicians.
Journalists were about to cover the filing of candidacy for Esmael Mangudatu, vice mayor of Buluan town. Datu Unsay mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., the son of the Maguindanao governor Datu Andal Ampatuan Sr., was challenged by Ampatuan for gubernatorial election. Mangudatu's wife, his two sisters, lawyers and motorists were also killed. Possible reason maybe is the rivalry of these two clans. 57 people were killed including the media men. Now, the Philippines, is the second dangerous country for journalists, next to Iraq.
Former President Fidel V. Ramos wants President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo resign
President Arroyo already formalized her candidacy to run for Congress for the next year's election on December 1, 2009 while Former President Fidel Ramos wants her to resign on her post.
As what FVR had said about his understanding of that particular aspect of governance is that as president, you must resign your position.
He also questioned the 50 visits to Pampanga this year. He said that why did she have to spend so much time (in Pampanga) instead of making 50 trips to Mindanao to ensure the peace and tranquility of those communities and to put in place feudal warlords.
Ramos also said that it would be unfair that Mrs. Arroyo runs for congress while she remains on her post. He also said that it is not democratic. He also added that Mrs. Arroyo has the power of appointments, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces and the PNP (Philippine National Police), the controller of the budget, the President and the head of the state of government.
