My New Hobby, Digital Scrapbooking

This is the Photomix Interface

I've got bored yesterday while doing link building from a site that I do not own. I stumbled upon a blog that talked about scrap booking and I was lured about it. A long time ago, I really had plans to do it but I had no time because I don't have the materials to use. I have to go to an Arts and Crafts store to buy the specific materials to be used like colorful papers, embellishments like ribbons, buttons and other small bits of pieces.

They introduce the word "digital scrapbooking". I wonder what it made digital then I went to my search, there are lots of websites about it that offers a software to do such thing.

Busy Rox

Things been busy lately and I have no time to write. Yes, nothing interesting things to write about, waah! Am I boring? Maybe. I have four projects on going that is why I rarely visit my blogs especially my Cebuana Ako blog.

I am also organizing an event to meet up with high school batch mates. It is really my first time to do this but it is not really complicated because my idea is just a simple Pizza Party since Alberto's Pizza has already a branch here in Naga. I am not really sure if all the people I invited will all confirm. It is alright because some already confirmed to join.

This is not an official reunion since I don't have any programme how the party will going to be. I am thinking of an on-the-spot fun. Of course, I am happy to say that those who confirmed are the ones I can go with the flow. Some are just busy with their work because they are all career men and women.

Once in a while, I could escape from work. A while ago, I just went to our plaza to walk and relax a bit and I ate dinner together with mom.

Successful First Cebu Blog Camp

Just arrived home at 9:00 pm from the city. After the blog camp, Bonjovax, Kevin and Mark dropped me at Colon. I went dinner with my partner at Mang Inasal, he was from work and decided to meet up. After the dinner, we walked going to Cebu South Bus Terminal for it is a weekend and I am tired for a two-ride jeep going home. It is a weekend so there were lots of people going to their respective provinces and that is why I arrived late.

I thought I was going to be alone at the Cebu Blog Camp because I never knew anyone personally until I found Mark Anthony Razonable (a fellow Technologian from Cebu Institute of Technology and a former IT student now ECE) with a six days old blog, waiting outside CAP auditorium, who was waiting for Kevin Ray Chua and Bonjovax (one of the creators of Bisdak Revolution), they're all Technologians.

These are the freebies that I got from Cebu Blog Camp! Weeeeh! I just love freebies! ^_^

This was the contest using the five sheets of newspapers for the fashion contest. (Am I right?)

With Mark Monta, Mark Razonable, Kevin Ray Chua and Bonjovax.

Well, there are lots of things to do and I think I just have to do this slowly connecting with other bloggers asking for exchange links. Hehehe! ^_^ For the next time!

Baliad in Bantayan Island

Baliad is the local term for oyster. From Wikipedia, the word oyster is used as a common name for a number of distinct groups of bivalve molluscs which live in marine or brackish habitats. The valves are highly calcified.

From the beach, we passed by these people who greeted us that evening. There were busy cooking for their 'pulutan'. We wondered what it was and they introduced us this kind of food that is cooked through fire.

Baliad is nice to cook with fire than steaming or with boiled-water. It is better to make fire with withered coconut husks than using an ordinary firewood. It is easy to cook because it is easy to identify. If the meat will separate from the shell, it is already cooked.

My boyfriend was ready for the first bite of baliad.

This is baliad.

This is the closer look of Baliad. The juice and the meat are so sweet and we were so full.

Sun Surrounded By A Halo Of Rainbow

This is taken today sometime at quarter to 1PM. My mom was listening to the news on the radio at DYAB about the sun surrounded by a rainbow. I hurriedly went out with my camera and just point-and-shoot.

Thanks to my Olympus fe-26 camera for having a nice shot of this wonderful scene.

Will you meet me halfway right at the border line?

The sun is shining bright up in the sky.

I don't know what it means but the PAG-ASA said it is a good sign and nothing bad will happen. It is very cool. Have you took a snapshot of this, too?

Are You A Fan Of Bejeweled Blitz?

On Facebook, I am very addicted to this game Bejeweled Blitz. I got a score around 250,000 points. This is very a fun game while lining all the same jewels to make it disappear. There is a sequel of this game called Bejeweled 2. This game has no time limit but it will take you to higher levels.

There is a man beat the Bejeweled game. He is Mike Leyde of Riverside, California who achieved the highest score possible for over 2000 hours or 3 years. He set a score of 2,147,482,575. The makers of Bejeweled 2, Popcap Games, thought it is impossible to reach that high score and was unattainable.
