Joven's Grill - Eat All You Can Trip with Jan

I forgot the date when was the time we went to Joven's Grill but I uploaded the pictures on my Facebook on December 14, 2011.  But I won't forget the time we went there.  It was 3:30 PM.  Before that, I went to a print shoppe to get my printer.  I already told Jan that we should meet inside the quick service restaurant but she invited me for an eat-all-you-can.

As natural as we are, we are really crazy on Facebook and in person.  We laughed out loud and talking a lot of things.  We don't care the people around us if they can hear us roaring with laughter as if we are (literally) huge but all they can see are cute and pretty girls. :P

We arrived at Joven's Grill with poise.  We were the only two customers at that time. It was already past snack time but Jan really wanted to eat rice.  She was really that hungry.  Of course, I enjoyed the opportunity since it was for free. Hahaha!

Hey, it was really UNEXPECTED that I grabbed the 2nd place for the VBS 2011 Best Post-Blog Post of the Year.  Honestly, it is really my first time to win in a blogging contest.

Yesterday me and my friend Jan roaming around SM City Cebu for dual purposes: business and laugh trip.  After meeting two people for their mugs and tumblers it was time for us for a laugh trip.  We just took off from our work and had fun together.

I am really happy to see Tibiao Fish Spa at SM City Cebu.  I've been searching for them where in Cebu they're located right now for I have a plan to try.  I haven't tried it though because I want to treat my boyfriend for this or may be my mother.

After the Attracting Wealth Seminar, we went to our first assignment that is to go to an expensive restaurant.  The Coriander is an Indian-Singaporean restaurant located at the Crossroads arcade in Banilad, Cebu.

Most of the foods are all spicy.  I am not really fond of spicy foods but I tried it for a change.  My boyfriend loves spicy foods and he has a favorite dish.

Attracting Wealth Seminar by John Calub

After the Visayas Blogging Summit 2011, the next day Manilyn and I went back to SM City Cebu for the Attracting Wealth Seminar by John Calub last November 27, 2011.  Actually we attended the Money Magnet Seminar last November 20.

We invested for this seminar for P3,500.00.  Workbooks were also provided for the participants.  I don't have to expound everything here about it but I am inviting you to join the seminar the next time Sir John Calub will be hitting for the next run here in Cebu.  It is a whole day event.

After the Visayas Blogging Summit event, my friends and I decided to take our dinner.  The event ended sometime at 8PM.  Actually we were already tired for waking up early but still we have the energy for our endless talks.  Jan decided to go home because her mom called her and she needed to buy something as requested by her mom.

Experience Visayas Blogging Summit 2011

I woke up at 5AM and took a bath immediately. I prepared myself for the Visayas Blogging Summit 2011 and I was really excited to meet my friends who I invited for the blogging summit. For breakfast, I was only drinking hot chocolate and ate some biscuits. I waved goodbye to my parents and told them that I would be late because it was a whole day event at SM City Cebu. Fortunately, I was able to take a ride of a KMK bus from Naga to SM City so I was able to take a nap there. Well, I was late and the bus was so slow.

 When I arrived at SM City Cebu, fortunately the event had not started yet. I registered and got a freebie. My friend Jan was not around yet so I waited for her. While waiting, I saw Sir Jobette, my SEO mentor and my computer teacher way back in high school. I greeted him and shook his hand. Then, Jan arrived and let them had their 'meet and greet.' After a while, Essel came. I was waiting for Manilyn though.

Hello December with Maroon 5

A lot of things happened before November ended.  Indeed I had a great time with friends and new acquaintances.  So far, 2011 has been also a good year to me and I have been receiving and still receiving a lot of blessings.  Yes, I am counting my blessings and ignore the haters.  I am doing well with my online job. I started a little business and other investments.  I have a blooming love life.  I know life isn't perfect but I am having a great time.

24 days to go and it's already Christmas.  I am really busy with the orders for Fotografi Rox, my home-based business.  I am also busy with my online job so I am really torn between them and that is why I am only working part-time right now.  I am already missing blogging right now that is why I found the time to blog.

During My Birthday

Ten days ago was my birthday.  I just want to share some pictures and stories on what happened that day.  My birthday celebration was very simple.  I spent few hours in the morning working my online job.  Since that day was a day-off of my boyfriend as what I've mentioned on my previous post.

Oh at last, my gift just arrived this afternoon.  This was supposed to be an advance birthday gift but it is just today I have it.  Anyway, it was a long story.  I received a package from Globe delivered by Air21.  I am now subscribing for postpaid plan for P499 a month and Samsung Galaxy Y is for free.  It has 24 months lock-in.

Bob Hairstyle - Back With My Short Hair

After how many months of being a career woman (echus lang!), I decided to have a make-over.  I've been so losyang and I look so old with my long hair before.  My hair wasn't really taken cared of because in the morning I don't usually comb my hair unless I go somewhere else.  My hair was so boring with a ponytail.

On November 3 was my day-off.  Before that day, I already looked for a hairstyle on the internet.  I have a heart-shaped face so a Bob hairstyle is for me.

I went to Franzy Hair Salon in Tabunok, Cebu.  My hairstylist gave me a better suggestion for my hair.  Ateh (he or she?) gave me a hair treatment.  My hair was really dry.  I don't know if I could maintain for a hair treatment twice a month but I guess I should prefer buying my own hair treatment and do this at home.

Before October, I realized I've been eating out a lot at Chowking for snacks.  I've been eating when I am with my mother or with my boyfriend.  I remember that last August, my mom and I went to the city.  We were hungry and went to Chowking.  We ordered siopao, wanton mami and siomai.  It was just a snack but we had a big burp then.

The Advantage of Dual SIM Phone

I've got to say bye bye to my previous phone, Nokia 6030, the first cellphone I've ever bought from my own money.  It served for 4 years and 7 months already.  Actually, it is still working and my sister is using it right now.  She just interchanged the battery from my mom's cellphone to the other.  The problem of my old Nokia is the charging thingy.  Instead of a repair I decided to buy a new phone which is the Nokia 101.

My 1 Year and 19 Days Old Netbook MSI Wind U100 Plus

Last September 29, 2011 was the birthday of my boyfriend and also the day my MSI Wind U100 Plus netbook is already a year old.  I named this Rave after my boyfriend's nickname.  If you could see the previous photos, right now it is so very dusty. Ha ha ha! I think I am already too lazy to clean it.

So far, I have no problem using this net book aside from a time that it was so slow to respond.  I think it is because my desktop are so messy with the files.  It is all cluttered and I haven't clean them yet.  I can only work on this when I am writing an article outside but there are times, my sister uses this for browsing.

I've been thinking to buy a laptop for another investment.  I don't know when will it happen.

I started blogging year 2007 but I restarted a blog year 2009.  I've been a Blogger platform user since then with all my three blogs and other blogs I haven’t updated yet.

This is a very late post.  Since I got some pictures, I love to blog about it.  He was working on a night shift during his birthday week and he is living in a boarding house near to his workplace.  He decided to go home and spent his birthday even though he has no money to prepare foods for the occasion.  

They wrote it as 23th instead of 23rd.  Tsk tsk tsk!

October is Here

This post should be published last night but the internet connection was f*ck*ng stupid last night.

It's already October but still I haven't announced yet the winners of my level-up anniversary giveaway.  My apologies because things got so busy lately.  My sponsors are also busy right now.  The announcement will get delayed but for sure there are still winners.

There are lots of things to blog about.  My pictures aren't uploaded yet and they are still on my digital camera.  I am blogging right now without pictures.  I could not make any scheduled posts.  It is just right now I am blogging a live post.

Okay, just so you know I am really busy with my online job and my home-based business.  My time is torn between these two.  My boyfriend is helping me with the orders he got from his workmates at work.  Sometimes my online job gets interrupted when students come over to print their pictures from Facebook.  It would be really nice to have an assistant for my home-based job so that he or she will take over the printing jobs and I can be more focused on my online job.

Well, as of now, I don't expect to receive the same (high) salary with my online job like few months ago.  Before, I could work for more than eight hours a day but now I couldn't.  I am so tired to work for more than eight hours.

I hate it when the internet connection f*ck* up.  It is also one of the reasons I seldom work for my online job.  Right now I am also experiencing internet connection failure.  Oh, GLOBELINES, what's happening?

As Always, Busy As A Bee

I have no pictures to upload right now but I have lots of pictures that need to be uploaded from my camera.  Things were so busy and my brain is really disorganized for having a lack of sleep and I've been thinking a lot.  Do you think this is bad for my health?

Last September 27 was my mom's birthday.  Her celebration was very simple.  My two siblings gave her birthday cakes and I only gave her money for spaghetti or salad but we ended up buying meals from Jollibee.  She had no time to cook because she was also busy with our sari-sari store.  Come to think of it, we were the only two people left at home.

That day, my boyfriend went over to our house and greeted my mom a happy birthday.  He came over because his co-workers ordered mugs from me.  Obviously, that day was very busy.  There were customers came over to print their pictures from Facebook.  I haven't done my online job that day.

After two days that was yesterday, it was my boyfriend's birthday on September 29.  I waited for 12 midnight just to greet him through SMS.  He is working on a night shift and told me that he would go home to spend his birthday at home and back to work at night still on the same day.  What I did yesterday was I bought cake for him.  Of course, I took picture of the cake.  Hehehe!  Before he went to work, we had a stopover at Chowking and eat a lot.

Unexpected Buying of a New Cellphone - Nokia 101

I mentioned earlier that my cell phone N6030 of four years got dead unexpectedly.  Well, not totally dead.  It's just because my cell phone got battery empty and I could not charge it.  I've been thinking to buy an original battery and original charger.  

I so badly wanted to meet Adam today (see previous post here).  I got no chance to read his messages because my phone went crazy.  Too unfortunate for me, eh? I decided to go to SM City Cebu alone and I went to Nokia to ask something about my phone.  I was really wondering what went wrong to my phone, was it the battery or the charging thingy churvaloh?

Unexpected Sunday Without Adam

Last Friday night, Adam sent an SMS to me that his day off will be changed to Saturday. It so happened that both of us had no load and we had no chance to text that night. On Saturday, I was busy with my online job while multitasking with my home-based business because a friend of mine ordered some tumblers. Then another friend of mine invited me for a fiesta. I thought that Adam's off was still extended to Sunday. Saturday night, I never received a text from him for clarification if he has a job the next day but never heard of him. Well, he fell asleep. 

This morning, I woke up at seven in the morning but I am still lack of sleep. Friends of my sister came over to our house after lunch and had a look of my products: tumblers, mugs, personalized notepads, key chains and phone accessories (see products here). Adam sent an SMS if I could have a chance to meet him this day and I said, of course. Too late for me to know that he has a job for tonight. Yes, I say tonight because he is working on a night shift.

 I never had the chance to meet him today because he would be late for work. Unfortunately, my cell phone got dead. I mean, my battery was empty and I could not charge it. I didn't even wear my watch so I could not distinguish what time it was. I decided to go to SM City Cebu. Another story for this on the next post...

Yesterday was September 18, 2011 and it was the 2nd year anniversary of Simple Yet Rock and being an Odesk member.  I am now more excited for more years of blogging and working online.

What did I do for celebration? Well, yesterday was a Sunday and it is my boyfriend and I's day-off.  As usual we always meet every day off and spend our time together.

After we ate our dinner at their home, we decided to go to Gaisano Tabunok and looked for some desserts.  There we found Ice Castle and gave it a try.  Actually it was our first time together to eat Halo-halo there.  We just ordered one Halo-halo special worth PhP67.00 and shared it.

Fotografi Rox - Business Office at Home

My so-called "busy-ness" last month is now paid off.  I am so happy that my dream is now coming true to have a little business office at home for Fotografi Rox - Digital Printing, Creations and Designs.  For the whole month of August, it was perfect timing that I had no full-time job in Odesk though I have some part-time stints.  I always keep on saving my earnings from my online job for investing a little business.  By the way, my little business office is located within Telang's Variety Store.  Location is here.

Post Celebration of our 4th Year Anniversary in Casa Verde

This is a very late post but it's still August, right? August 4 is our official day but we celebrated it after that day because Friday was his day off.  It was our second time in Casa Verde together.  I think I haven't blog about it.  Anyway, we really enjoyed our date because it was really mouthwatering.  This Casa Verde is in Ayala.  Their main branch is in F. Ramos and their other branch is at The Walk, IT Park.

How Are You?

Good evening to y'all! I have nothing to blog right now.  Anyway, it has been a month already that I don't have an online job right now.  It's like I am having a vacation away from the computer.  Well, not really away.  I just remembered that I still need to write some article for today for a part-time job.  Alright, I don't have a full-time job right now.

This afternoon, I was just in my bed and just surfed the web using my netbook.  Then I turned on Windows Media Player listening to the audio book of Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.  Actually I have the e-book.  I really wanted to have a paperback copy of the book because I am collecting books about finances.  By the way, just this first week of the month I purchased the book Retire Young, Retire Rich, still with the same author.  It is the only book I found on National Bookstore since Rich Dad, Poor Dad is always out of stock.  Yes, it is one of his best-selling books.

Listening/reading Robert Kiyosaki's book is really an inspiration.  I even liked his fan page on Facebook to get updates from him.

That's it for today and I still need to write some article.  I just said I have nothing to blog right now but it seems I am talking or writing a lot here.  Hehehe! ^___________^

I really envy my boyfriend when two days ago, he uploaded a picture of him PLANKING.  I was the one who invited him to do such stuff but we had no chance to do it.  For me, I am still looking for a cool place to do such.  Well, it is really boring if I just do it at home because it is too common.

His working schedule is at night shift.  He told me that his workmate capture this for him.  They did this for fun and to get rid of getting sleepy.  A nice way to have fun at work.

Busy With No Pay

Since August started, I haven't been working with online job yet.  I still enjoy the month for the anniversary or I guess this month is like a vacation for me.  I still have my other online jobs outside Odesk but I seldom working on it.  I don't know if this is procrastination since I am not yet totally free from work.

I should have posted the pictures about the post anniversary with my partner but I still find myself lazy to blog about it.  I am just writing a post right now just for an update what is happening to me.  Don't worry, I will post about it soon.

Why busy with no pay? I am doing things right now which I receive no payment.  Actually, I am spending my money more than saving it.  Of course, I'm spending it as an investment.  I just have to be serious with my plan.

I guess, that's it for now.

Happy 4th Year Anniversary AdamRox

We've been through ups and downs in our relationship.  We even had our break-up for five to six months.  Now, we are still together because we can't resist each other.  He is my first boyfriend, my first relationship and hoping to last longer.  I am so lucky that I never experienced being fooled by a guy.  He knows that I am worth to love for I am a person who sticks in a relationship.  We love being in a long relationship.

Being a nurse is a very tough job.  I’ve seen my friends who are working as nurses right now although they have good benefits for their chosen field.  My aunt was being hospitalized last month for being sick but she is already fine right now.  I love the lady nurse who took care of her very well.  She was really talkative so there were no dull moments in the hospital every time I see her.

After the days of hospitalization of my aunt, I checked the website she gave me.  No doubt that her uniforms are really cool.  There are other products that they can offer to their clients.  They have scrubs available for men, women and kids.  That is really great for they have collections for kids. Scrub hats are also available with different colors.  Well, I realized that this is great for gift ideas for your friends and families who are working in the medical field.

I am a frustrated artist.  Hmm, I don't like the word.  It's very negative because it's like I am a trying-hard artist.  Is it okay to say I am a self-proclaimed artist? Hahahaha! Yes, I am a self-proclaimed artist.  So what? Anyone can be an artist by heart.

I have a blog which entitled The Left-Handed Artist with a last update of October 2010.  I haven't updated the blog ever since because I was so busy among other things.  Maybe this year I will try.  I hope to share my artworks on that blog.

Last July 22, 2011, my boyfriend and I went to SM City Cebu at Cyberzone.  I bought this Easy Pen i405 Graphic Tablet by Genius.  Since I am just a novice with digital art, this tablet is for me who goes for practice.

First Time in Toledo, Cebu

My previous post mentioned that I was in Toledo, Cebu.  Now, I'll just share my experience there.  Yes, it's my first time in Toledo with my mom.  Toledo is next to Naga on the west side.  I never thought that it is an hour travel just like traveling from Naga to Cebu City.  Also the fare is very expensive because it's PhP40.00 from Naga to Toledo while it's PhP25.00 from Naga to Cebu City.

We never went to the main city but in Sangi, Toledo City, Cebu.  My mom and I could see how huge the area is and it's a city surrounded by mountains.  By the way, we rode on a bus going to Balamban.  We were not very familiar with the place so we asked help from a konduktor (someone who collects our money for the fare.). The purpose of going there was to meet someone.

We decided to meet that someone here in the newly opened Gaisano Grand Mall Toledo.

I am Busy Roxy

I haven't blog since my last post.  Again and again I am really busy.  There are things I love to blog but still I have no time for it.  Pictures are still on my camera.  

I've been with mom last Wednesday in Toledo City, Cebu.  Actually it was my first time there.  After few days, I visited my friend Jeaneth with her baby Mheryan Saivale.  It was my first visit after the christening.  She's really big right now at five months.  I also took pictures of her.  She's very cuddly and I think she loves my pink camera or it's because she just loves to grab something.  The next day, my boyfriend and I went to a business seminar for a MLM company.  The product is very expensive and we can't afford it but we learned something from them.

I am hoping for a blog post next time with pictures.  I am still busy with my online job. ^_^

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 - the First 3D IMAX Theatre Experience

The last part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows already ended last July 14, 2011 in the Philippines.  Last Friday on July 15, my boyfriend and I were so excited to watch the movie.  It was our second time in IMAX Theatre - SM City Cebu but our first time for the 3D experience.

Since we have our own Sari-Sari store, I asked my mom what would be the other ways for me to grow my money.  Every three months, I always put some of my money in time deposits but we all know that it has a very low interest.  I need to ride several vehicles to wealth but I have to take it slow until I am familiar with it.  Then my mom introduced me to finance the three loading wallets for Sun, Globe and Smart as my investment.  After few months, I am now earning.

Reading Books, Magazines and Blog About Building Wealth and Business Part 1

This year 2011, I started buying books about building wealth and business.  I just realized it now that I am working online which I am truly blessed with my earnings.  Last year I've bought LCD TV, netbook and my other fruits of labor and if I keep on buying expensive things, for sure when I get old I have nothing.

I've been saving money at the bank of my choice and realized to put it on a time deposit so that I am not tempted to shop using all my money.  Honestly, I wasn't really familiar with the word INVESTMENT.  I forgot how I met this word and became so serious with this.  I think it started with my mini-office in my bedroom which I bought things for longer use, an investment for productivity.

I've been a frequent visitor of a blog about Business, Investments and Personal Finance by Fitz Villafuerte that entitled Ready To Be Rich.  I've got more tips about freelancing, productivity and other ideas to earn money.  Last January 2011 I attended a seminar about real estates for Citta di Mare - SRP Cebu.  I met Mr. Jun Garing of Salesman's Centre who trained us for professional selling.  Because of the seminar, I slowly understand the word INVESTMENT.

In January 2011, I bought two books on becoming rich.  I first bought You Can Be Rich by David King in Powerbooks - SM City Cebu and after few days, I bought 8 Secrets of Truly Rich by Bo Sanchez in National Bookstore - Ayala Center, Cebu.

NBI Clearance Renewal in Talisay City, Cebu

Last June 28, 2011, I woke up at 8 in the morning and fixed myself to go to the city.  Before I went to Cebu City, I dropped at Robinson's Market in Talisay City for my NBI Clearance renewal.  It is the same place where I also applied for LTO driver's license - student permit.

I arrived at the NBI's premises sometime at 10 in the morning.  I was relieved to see that it was not really crowded.  It's an advantage for the people living in Cebu South.  It's a 45-minute ride from Naga to Talisay.  The cut-off time in the morning is at 11 and in the afternoon is at 5.  The NBI Renewal Kiosk opens from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Munching Jolly Crispy Fries New Flavors: Four Cheese and Sour Cream

After climbing a tree on Sunday afternoon, we had a business meeting kuno with my friends (Tata and Nin) so we decided to meet in Jollibee - Bulacao at 7PM because I personally delivered to Tata the customized notepad she had ordered a week ago already.

After how many minutes of unstoppable talk I realized that I haven't took my dinner yet.  I interrupted because I need to eat and we decided to try out these new flavors of Jolly Crispy Fries.  I didn't bring my camera and good thing that Tata brought her fabulous Samsung smartphone.  She told us that her Samsung phone is not yet released here in the Philippines.

Climbing A Tree After How Many Years

I just want to share something happened to me last Sunday. When I was a kid I love climbing the trees. It's very nice when you're at the top, right? The kids before and the kids right now are very different. Playing the streets and climbing the trees were those of the things we enjoyed to do with our playmates.

Last Sunday, my aunt asked me to go with her to take snapshots of their lot which is for sale here in Naga, Cebu.  You can check the album on my Facebook account LOT FOR SALE.  The lot has several plants and trees planted so I decided to climb a tree for an aerial shot.

First Time in Radisson Blu Hotel

This is the sequel of my post last time about the First Entrepreneur Networking Night in Cebu.  It was held in Radisson Blu Hotel beside SM City Cebu.  The hotel is very big and classy like I was in a different country.
